Firework Safety Tips:
🎇 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
🎇 Never allow young children to handle fireworks.
🎇 Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby.
🎇 Light only one firework at a time and move away quickly.
🎇 Never relight a firework that doesn’t go off.
🎇 Soak used fireworks in water before throwing them away.
🎇 Keep fireworks away from homes, vehicles, dry grass, and other combustible materials.
🎇 Never use fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.![]()
Remember, sparklers can reach temperatures of over 1,200°F—hot enough to cause serious burns.![]()
If you choose to use fireworks, make sure they’re legal in your area and follow all local laws and safety guidelines.![]()

Huge thank you to Ray and the crew from AG Demo and Renovation for delivery water to our department and surrounding mutial aid departments due to the extreme heat impacting our area. A huge thank you to the kids from the Journey Church for putting together these kits for our first responders!
Lastnight box 10-3 was struck for a reported motor vehicle crash. At the same time Station 10 was alerted to assist Station 15 Lakemont with a possible commercial building fire. Truck 10 went enroute to the building fire while engine rescue 10 and Rescue 20 handled the motor vehicle crash.
